【Bape】The Heron Preston x BAPE Collaboration Epitomizes Streetwear Magic hoodie

Heron Preston and BAPE have teamed up for a limited-edition collaboration. The two streetwear brands have never cooperated before, and this cooperation has brought many new designs and ideas to both sides. The new pairing epitomizes streetwear magic by fusing popular American and Japanese dress notes. Bape has made a very beautiful design for this collaboration.



To put forth a collection that presented new ideas, while also staying true to BAPE’s history, Heron Preston reimagines classics like BAPE’s Shark Hoodies, BAPE Camo, the APE HEAD totem, and the BAPE STA lurker. Starting the collection are Ham HEAD graphic t-shirts that pay homage to early screen printing designs. Next over is a workwear jacket and matching mileage pants that feature BAPE’s unheroic ABC camo and grandiloquent COLOR camo.
“ This design is 8 times in the timber. In 2015 I launched a design called ‘ Street Sweepers ’, where I addressed a Nike Air Force One, remixing it into 3 different brands that would typically noway ever work together, ” said Heron Preston. “ I allowed this as an insolvable collaboration and the dream was to give people what they were noway supposed to have. In 2019, BAPE formally reached out to me, to turn that dream into a reality. ”




The name of the collection is the coveted BAPE full-zip Shark Hoodie in blue and green disguise with matching sweatpants. Rounding out the collection is the BAPE STA lurker that has been reimagined in Heron Preston’s hand orange tinge. In addition to the leather and oil construction, the figure is finished off with mismatched BAPE and Heron Preston markers.
